Linda McCausland specializes in landscape paintings and animal portraits using acrylic, pastel, encaustic, and mixed media. Her work is impressionistic, and occasionally abstract in nature. She enjoys pushing colors and textures rather than portraying objects as they exist in reality.

A native of New York state, Linda earned her art degree from the University of Cincinnati and studied classical oil painting and drawing at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. She and her family fell in love with Park City in the 1980s and eventually made it their home in 2004.

In addition to showing her work in Utah, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and throughout New York’s Thousand Island area, Linda’s art has illustrated sections of Park City Magazine, has helped organizations like Utah Friends of Animals, and hangs at the St. Regis at Deer Valley. She loves to ski, hike, and bike with friends and family.

Linda likes to share her art with as many people as possible. These beautiful note cards with her original art printed on the cards help makes that possible.
